I decided to make the move to real estate in 2007. Just in time for the housing market to slow down! That didn’t deter me from helping buyers and sellers achieve their goals in the home buying and selling processes. I just had to work a little harder. Why real estate? It wasn’t the dream of riches that brought me here; it was my love for houses, old & new. After spending 10 years in the beverage industry, I was ready to be my own boss.
I’ve loved homes and decorating since I was a kid. When I was 10, I wanted to be an architect. By the time I attended college, I wanted to specialize in the restoration of older homes. I wasn’t exactly interested in “flipping houses” but in bringing forgotten and neglected homes to life.
I love helping buyers find that home with good bones and helping them visualize what it could look like with their decor and special touches. I’m also available for new home buyers who are looking for guidance in making decor selections and maximizing their dollar when considering upgrades with a builder.
For sellers, I offer a customized marketing plan based on the home, the seller, and the location of the property. What? Don’t I treat everyone equally? I do. Clients with a $100,000 home are treated the same as clients with $1,000,000 homes. Staging, professional photography, video, timely communication, and up to date technology are just the basics. Marketing your home to get it sold is where I personalize the plan for your home. That’s when my beverage industry experience comes into play. Sometimes you have to think outside the box!
